Chesedonia as a 'homebase'; Din hires players to do jobs/acts as a guild leader.
SHERIDAN .
Sheridan handles ship construction for the entire Outer Lands. Is technically part of Kimlasca, but experienced craftsmen from all over the world live there. The dry rocks from the huge canyon around Sheridan are invaluable for building fon machines, especially weapons. Sheridan is pretty close to Daath, too, so they can sell battleships and landships to Malkuth as well. With the war, most of the parts have been used for landship construction. The city originally produced landships for Malkuth. It's five days from Sheridan to Akzeriuth in the Tartarus.
Kimlasca-Lanvaldear Royal Academy. Professor Ian's class is Class I, and Professor Melissa's is Class M.
"Yulia City, and thus Daath, control any Dawn Age Technology that is unearthed or discovered. Not only does Sheridan no longer have the fonpower necessary to power their fontech, but with Daath in its current state, it's unlikely that they'd even be able to get permission to research Dawn Age technology to try to come up with alternatives based on it. As such, it's likely only the most eccentric of inventors whose dreams have survived, as everyone else would be stuck turning to more practical applications of their skills. I imagine some of the machines might even be scrapped for parts(?) Or that Daath will be like YOUR AIRSHIPS BELONG TO US (because we loaned you the hover drive). [Not that they can use them either.]
Sheridan is the WORLD source of fontech, but if Kimlasca and Malkuth are competing for survival (if it gets really bad), there's a possibility that Kimlasca would tighten its grip on Sheridan, since it's their own territory.
While craftsmen would likely leave altogether from lack of opportunities, it's possible that people from Malkuth, Daath, Chesedonia, etc would grow resentful. If you wanted to go the route of factions or whatever that were mentioned earlier, you could use that as a springboard - the people (from anywhere) who believe Sheridan's talents should benefit everyone worldwide and not just Kimlasca could work to help the other powers [as well] in secret.
Sheridan does not have much else going for it. I mean I presume there are fishing opportunities and rock quarries in the area, but they are essentially in a desert plateau, and depending on whether fonpower is used to pump water (this might be a problem for Chesedonia/Oasis as well) getting enough fresh water might become a problem. Vegetables. (Insert plant jokes!) And then if monsters increase, it would likely become suicidal even to attempt going to Megiorra, and dangerous enough getting from the city to the port.
Wind is a thing, so maybe they could build wind turbines or something. There is also plenty of sun, if they learned to harness solar power.
As for transport, the bridge (unless there is some reason they can't use it) would be good for them to carry less cumbersome supplies back and forth and to get food/water/etc. Other than that, originally most things likely arrived by ship, so if there is still some sort of functioning watercraft...
As for flying things, blimps/lighter-than-air craft might be an option, but they still require power to move them anywhere anytime FAST (they can ascend and descend without any power, though). They would be slow in comparison to the Albiore, though. Otherwise they can float by themselves no problem if you wanted a stationary object in the sky (for intelligence purposes, etc). Other cons with blimps are they are BIG, so they'd need an equally big landing pad, and they are also easy to explode if there is a fire because they're full of hydrogen (or some other lighter-than-air gas...I think helium might be another one). Tl;dr blimps and also anything small (gliders, etc) I'm afraid would get blown around too much by the winds - so if there's still a group of aviators pining for the sky, if it went a route like this, they'd have to set up base in more forgiving territory."
DAATH .
Daath, the shining holy city, has grown bleak. Without the Score to guide them and ensuing economic troubles, people are less able (and willing) to make pilgrimages and provide donations, leaving a steady income only to those of higher rank. Many once-prosperous citizens have been forced into the growing slums outside the cathedral. Resentment stirs the trod-upon masses. Bitter over Order's senselessness in-fighting while they suffer, revolution may soon become more than mere talk.
Worse still is the inner political turmoil has left Daath vulnerable to insurgents or coupes from its former benefactors. Malkuth and Kimlasca vie for control of Daath in a game of political chess, trying to get their noblemen and the like into positions of power, for even the lack of the Score does not diminish Daath's value as religious icon to those longing for days past.

- New religions trying to fill the gap?
- Trying to preach replica tolerance but it's not going over well with the citizens.
- Daath still has emissaries and ambassadors to try and keep charitable donations going.
- Auldrant is likely upset because of the bloody politics playing out in the holy city.
・ Who are the strangers that supply fon power? Why are they appearing?
・ Who is hunting fonists and replicas?
・ How and why are those from alternate worlds being drawn in? How can they return?
Town-link system where players can affect how Auldrant is doing, thus opening up more venues(ie the Casino) or cause mayhem (ie start small-scale conflicts that could grow into wars.)
Opportunities for non-combatants: coach-driver, farmer, herbalist, blacksmith, thief, other illegal professions, surveyor (searches out pockets of fonons to harvest fonstones in a joint effort of both kingdoms to benefit the people. Need protection from monsters and thieves. High-paying job generally reserved for those trusted.)
Transportation needs some thought. Coaches, boats, 'horse'back. Albiores are grounded? Possible of using wing bottles to speed up travel? Chesedonia has some kind of recall device and characters can give each other a lift? Teleport ability expands as more areas are 'fixed'/explored? Introduction of steam power or other basic technologies? Homing pigeons ('doves' mentioned in drama cd) for communication? Lighter-than-air crafts: ballons, etc. [Replica] Slaves for rowing-type boats not unheard of.
Holidays and observances. Festival of Lights: The common practice is to light small lamps and place them around the home, in courtyards, verandas, and gardens, as well as on roof-tops and outer walls.
Seasonal: Beginning of the sowing season, coming winter, solstices, new year, etc.
Defeat (either specific heroes or general kingdoms) over their opponents. Religious holidays: honoring saints (on the day of their death?)
People of Auldrant would be extremely xenophobic. Slavery has become a big problem, especially in regards to replicas/people with little affinity for fonic artes.
There should be a rule or rules to explain how magic or powers from other canons are effected/work. Everyone is turned human and given Tales artes?
A town for replicas was in the progress of being made, but due to protests and a shocking number of replicas disappearing, it has been disbanded for their own safety. The former occupants were in the process of being relocated across Auldrant through the help of both kingdoms when the group of fonon thieves attacked, forcing those who were left to scatter. A number from each army died. Small groups of replicas of live in the wilderness if they have the resources/awareness to protect themselves. Less mature replicas linger near towns and cities, slowly being picked off one by one.
